Our Animation Magic event continues every weekend in September, featuring all your favourite superheroes princesses and quirky characters from popular animated movies....learn the tricks of animation in our new workshops, join in a singalong with our princess, design a character costume on our craft table and create a fantastic fridge magnet of your favourite animated character:

FRIDGE MAGNETS
There will be a selction of magnet workshops running throughout the day based on different movies where children can make a magnet to take home. You can attend as many workshops as you like but please note there is a restriction of one magnet per workshop.

Animated VIP's.... don't forget your cameras...you never know who you might bump into!! Different characters every day
ANIMATION WORKSHOP PROGRAMME
Our workshops will take children back to the origins of animation:
*See how people amused themselves with thaumatropes and zoetropes..make your own animated sequence.
*Our stop motion workshop will teach you how to make a movie from photographs...a technique used in many movies and classic TV shows such as Wallace and Gromit.
*Learn how to sketch you favourite character in our cartoon workshops
CRAFT WORKSHOPS
Choose a costume, mask, crown or prop from a wide selection of popular animated movies
ACTIVITIES FROM YOUR FAVOURITE ANIMATED MOVIES
ICE AGE: Glow in the dark Sabre tooth necklaces
TOY STORY: Parachuting green army men
FROZEN: Cute jumping Olaf
BATMOBILES: Create and race your balloon-powered creations
CATAPULT AEROPLANES: Take aim and fly them over the skyscrapers
FINDING DORY: Swimming tropical fish
...and so much more including a slice of science. Take part in a different experiment every hour including bath bombs, bubbles and slime!!
